About us
A small presentation of who we are.
The owner and the proprietor is a fisherman from the icelandic stern trawlers. He is still going there trip and trip.
He has 6 children (see picture). He is a rather good cook and the pictures on our food page, is showing that.
He got this idé once to start a guesthouse in Þorlákshöfn, by the south coast of Iceland.
Þorlákshöfn is a fish village where the ferry from and to Vestmannaeyjar did have a landing platform for passangers and cars.
Þorlákshöfn is close to the new road Suðurvegur (South-road) where people can come from Keflavík airport and the village Grindavík f. example.
Þorlákshöfn is first of all a village where the people's live be about fish and a service around the boats and fish processing factory.
The coast is rocky and the big waves of the Atlantic ocean are wild and make it possible to go surfing there.
